Littlebird One-Year Limited Warranty
Applies to: Littlebird 2.0 Safety Tracker
Effective Date: December 1, 2025
By purchasing and using your Littlebird 2.0 Safety Tracker (the “Product”), you accept and agree to the terms of this Warranty. This Warranty is provided by Littlebird Connected Care, Inc.
1. What’s Covered and For How Long
This Warranty covers your Littlebird 2.0 Safety Tracker’s hardware for a period of one year from the date of purchase or delivery (whichever is later) against the following (subject to the limitations and exclusions stated below):
- Defects in materials and workmanship;
- Battery malfunction or failure caused by manufacturing defects (excluding gradual battery capacity degradation or other issues resulting from normal wear and tear); and
- Hardware failures that result from normal usage.
2. Who Is Covered
The warranty is limited to the original purchaser of the Product. This warranty is nontransferable, and terminates if you sell or otherwise transfer the Product.
3. Limitations
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- LITTLEBIRD’S SOLE RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY DEFECT IN THE PRODUCT IS AS STATED IN THIS WARRANTY; LITTLEBIRD SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, INDIRECT, OR SPECIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, LOSS OF DATA, DOWNTIME COSTS, CAREGIVER EXPENSES, EMOTIONAL DISTRESS, LOST OPPORTUNITIES, OR ANY OTHER INDIRECT FINANCIAL LOSS. THIS EXCLUSION APPLIES EVEN IF LITTLEBIRD HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES AND EVEN IF ANY WARRANTY REMEDY FAILS OF ITS ESSENTIAL PURPOSE. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATION OR EXCLUSION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
- IF YOUR LOCAL LAW PROVIDES ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING AN IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, THE DURATION OF ANY SUCH IMPLIED WARRANTY IS THE SAME AS THIS WARRANTY (ONE YEAR FROM THE DATE OF ORIGINAL PURCHASE OR DELIVERY, WHICHEVER IS LATER). SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON HOW LONG AN IMPLIED WARRANTY LASTS, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
- THIS WARRANTY EXPLICITLY REPLACES AND SUPERSEDES ALL OTHER EXPRESS WARRANTIES.
4. What’s Not Covered
This Warranty specifically excludes:
- Normal cosmetic wear (e.g., scuffs, scratches, minor cosmetic imperfections);
- Damage from misuse, abuse, accidents, or improper handling;
- Damage caused by unauthorized modifications or repairs;
- Damage caused by liquid or moisture beyond stated water-resistance ratings; and
- Software, mobile applications, digital services, charging cables, accessories, or original packaging.
5. How We’ll Make It Right
If your device qualifies for a Warranty claim, we will, at our sole discretion:
- Repair the Product using new or certified refurbished parts;
- Replace the Product with a new or certified refurbished model of equal or greater value; OR
- Refund the purchase price in exchange for return of the Product.
6. How to Submit a Claim
To file a Warranty claim:
Contact Littlebird Support at support@littlebird.care or via our online support link; or by mailing a request to our address: 522 W Riverside Ave Suite 7228, Spokane, WA, 99201, United States.
- Provide proof of purchase; and
- Follow the provided return instructions.
You are responsible for shipping costs when sending your device to Littlebird. Littlebird covers return shipping costs for approved warranty claims.
7. Warranty Claim Deadline
Warranty claims must be submitted within 60 days of discovering a defect.
8. Your Rights Under State Law
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from State to State.
